About us:
The Children's Court of Victoria has jurisdiction under the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 to hear cases involving children and young people up to the age of 18 years, and in some cases up to 19 years. It has a Family Division and a Criminal Division and it sits at locations throughout metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.

About the role:
The Clinical Team Leader is responsible for the provision of supervision and expert practice guidance to a small team of Family Drug Treatment Court (FDTC) Clinical Case Managers, while maintaining the capacity for a reduced direct clinical case management case load. The role assists in the coordination of service provision to families in the program, including the coordination and management of weekly Progress Review Hearings and the management of key local sector practice relationships.

The role requires knowledge of contemporary theory and practice regarding effective support and intervention with substance misusing parents. It also has responsibility for ensuring that clinical practice within the FDTC is informed by the latest and best available evidence.
